A Short History Leading up to and the Founding of Wales United Methodist Free Church and Sunday School by Hannah Robinson

"For nearly thirty years before we had a chapel, a methodists service was held on Sunday afternoons in the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. Kitchen, farmer of Wales. This little society was joined to the Chersterfield Circuit and was served by local preachers from the circuit. They remained with Chersterfield until the break away from the wesleyan's; then wales withdrew from Chesterfield and joined Sheffield Surrey Street Circuit..."
