During the course of the project we’ve collected hundreds of documents which provide insights into what life has been like in Kiveton Park and Wales, particularly working at the pits. Our volunteers have scanned many of these documents so they can be read on-line.

- Pit Archive
In this section there are six galleries to look through at your leisure. You will find documents from the Family Fun Day of 1978 to newspaper clippings from throughout the strike. You will also find other documents like from the opening of the Jubilee Drift in 1977.
- Village Life
In this section you will find four galleries with documents relating to events around the village. Check out the Regal Cinema gallery to see orginal some orginal film posters. You can also find a book about the short history of the Wales Parish Church.
- Books
Many old books have been collected through the course of the project. From cookery books and first aid to Bridal magazines. You will also see original certificates from the Primitives Methodists Sunday School - see if you can spot someone you know.
- War
Here you will find original documents from the Wars like identitiy cards and newspaper clippings. There are personal letters and cards sent to loved ones from soldiers like 'A Scrap of Paper' a poem written by Walter Blackwell.
